Stone Removal Process
- The stone spot on the hill is opened,
- the mullock is removed from the top of the hill to get a good quality stone
- the quarry is reaped of the stone,
- stone blocks are removed,
- with a chain cutter and diamond wires saw they are threaded through the holes made by the probes. The large plate is descended in this way.
- When a part of the hill is opened, the smaller blocks up to 2.5 m cubic meters are cut and transported for further processing
