Stone Eagle

The Stone Eagle is a statue with a big understatement. This outstanding, handmade sculpture is designed by OK Stipe Atelier and it represents the freedom and the strength at the same time. The Stone Eagle requires a lot of patience and profesionall skills from a stonemason to make this bird look almost alive.

The Brac quarries have supplied a great number of notable buildings with stone since ancient times: the most famous one is Diocletian’s Palace in Split, the Cathedral of St. James in Sibenik and the Cathedral of St Lawrence in Trogir and which have been under World Heritage (UNESCO) protection.
