OK-Stipe
OK-Stipe was founded from Stipe Vrandečić and is located in Pučišća on Brač. Pučišća is famous for quarries with white limestone. The quarry OK-Stipe employs 25 workers, mostly stonemasons. The team works with extraction, processing, and manufacturing of stone products for private houses, hotels, gardens, public spaces etc.
Stipe Vrandečić and his team are also engaged in the restoration of cultural heritage in Croatia.
Most famous are the stonemasons works on the restoration of monuments under UNESCO protection: Diocletian's Palace, the Temple of Jupiter, Golden Gate and the Cathedral of St. Duje in Split, bell tower and portal of Trogir cathedral, the Benedictine monastery of St. Nicholas, St. Peter's Chapel of St. Sebastian, Franciscan monastery in Makarska, as well as dozens of bell towers throughout Dalmatia.
Stipe Vrandečić is well-respected craftsman and the keeper of the award Golden Hands, one of most prestigious awards for the craftsmanship in Croatia. Along with many years of work in his trade, Mr. Vrandečić participates very actively in the work of the Association of Craftsmen and the Chamber of Crafts Brač in Split-Dalmatia County.
He is also a member of the Board of Directors of UO Brač and president of the Guild of the stonecutters the Chamber of Crafts of Split-Dalmatia.
